Tried this cafe a few days ago with my auntie after her recommendation. I was not disappointed. The food was lovely. I had a nest breakfast, I don't usually like English breakfast but as the owner allowed me to swap out a certain item, I was very impressed. Pot of tea was also a good size for 2. Very cheap and affordable and all freshly made. 10/10 for the owner who runs it solo. Friendly service, very clean and welcoming atmosphere. Also grabbed a Forerro Rocher brownie to takeaway which was delicious later that day. Will definitely be visiting again.

Even though I live locally I'd not popped in to 'the nest' before, but a recent meet up here with retired workmates changed chat. We enjoyed a lovely setting with excellent food and a very friendly owner giving great service, what more could you ask for, will definitely be back.

Been going here for a couple of months now to enjoy a latte and sometimes indulging in magnificent cake. Prices are great value, the atmosphere is great and the owners are friendly, pleasant and welcoming. Today I finally took the plunge for a breakfast.at only £8.50 for the big one (£6 for the standard) Delicious. Thank you!

We were travelling through, stopped by the Asda petrol station closed by and our children needed the toilet so we checked out the main Asda. Unfortunately they didn't have toilets but security there directed us to this tea room. A lovely serving lady at the front said of course our children could go in and use the toilet without having to buy anything, so that was fantastic. On the way out we decided to buy a piece of brownie marble cake anyway for the children to share, and the nice fellow at the till gave us the biggest piece, & a free cupcake when he seen the third child emerge from the toilet. Incredibly friendly people and really nice food, wish I lived more local so I could visit more often, but I'd recommend this place to anyone
